The Japanese House

“Ah … here we are, the house of Yoshida welcomes you,” he said, formally offering me his hospitality when we arrived.

The house was built in the traditional Japanese style, single-storied, with a thick thatched roof. The windows and sliding doors were made of wood and mulberry paper. Stepping in, I found a simple platform where you could remove your shoes before entering the house. The floor was about a foot high and made of wood which had been polished to a high shine. At the centre of the house stood an indoor fire stove in a square shape, similar to the one at Meen’s house. Above the stove was an iron stand from which the cooking pots were hanging. Beside it sat two women, who were as beautiful as Napa. Judging by their appearance, they must have been about fifteen to sixteen years old.

“Hello, welcome to our home,” they said, greeting me together.

“Hello,” I replied, greeted them back while I sat down on the floor.

“Let me introduce you. This is my wife, Zuda,” Yoshida gestured to the woman on the left, who was as pretty as an angel.

“And this is Koharu, my daughter,” Yoshida continued, gesturing at the second woman. “I named her myself.”

Still seated on the floor, both bowed to me, following the Japanese tradition, so I bowed back to them. I started to realise why Yoshida enjoyed his life here so much; he had such a young and beautiful wife.

“Zuda is almost 200,000 years older than I am,” Yoshida told me, as if he had heard what I was thinking.

“But my daughter Koharu is only 30 years old,” he added.

I took a closer look at Koharu: she looked very much like her mother, they almost looked like twins. The difference was that Koharu had curly black hair, which she could have inherited from her father, who also had curly hair, while her mother’s hair was straight.

“My name is Tim. It’s my pleasure to meet you,” I said, politely introducing myself.

“We are pleased to meet you, as well,” Koharu replied in a clear voice.

After the introduction, Yoshida’s family invited me for dinner, a contemporary Japanese style meal comprising of vegetables, steamed rice, topped with different types of dried herbs, onion soup with tofu, pickled vegetables, and fresh fruits for desserts.

“Yoshida, do you miss home? I mean, our old world,” I started the conversation, once we had finished dinner.

“Honestly, I never thought of going back,” he replied.

“Why is that? I believe this place doesn’t have any modern facilities, not even electricity to light up the rooms at night. Let me tell you, in our world, the technology is much more advanced now. We all have mobile phones and wireless internet, which we use to communicate with each other at anytime and anywhere, and our cars are far more comfortable than those of your time,” I explained.

“I know … I know everything,” Yoshida answered.

“After being here for 10 years, I’ve practiced and mastered the art of telepathy, and other mechanisms to access knowledge from the universe,” he went on. “It has helped me to get updates on everything that has happened on our planet since I left, all the technological, medical and genetic modification advancements, or the developments in the manufacturing of weapons. It has even allowed me to access the past history of our world, which made me even sadder. I learnt the real purpose of my last mission when I escorted the troops. Since you have studied history, do you remember what happened at that time?” he asked.

“Well, I don’t know. I don’t know much about history,” I answered awkwardly.

“Three days after I had left that world, the Japanese Air Force dropped bombs on Pearl Harbour. America lost more than 2,400 soldiers, 3 cruisers, and 3 destroyers. Almost everything was destroyed,” Yoshida said.

“And that attack prompted America to officially enter World War II. The war eventually brought the greatest tragedy upon the Japanese nation, when Hiroshima and Nagasaki were destroyed by nuclear bombs, killing hundreds of thousands, and affecting millions of people.”

“I was a soldier, but I never liked the war,” he concluded.

“But now, there’s no more war,” I said.

“It’s not that there aren’t any more wars these days. You’re just not aware of them. If only you could truly understand the strategic mechanism of war, you would understand that millions of lives have been destroyed by wars, including those in the Middle East and Africa,” Yoshida said.

“Do you still think I want to return to the world that is heading for a disaster?” he said, making his point clear.

“Although we don’t have the modern comforts here in this world, but let’s think this through for a second. Creating tools to make life more comfortable completely contradicts the core principles of life. Having these tools relieves you from physical hardships and helps you save energy, right? But then, you have to find the time to exercise your body, otherwise you won’t be strong. What’s even more absurd is that you have to spend your hard-earned money on things that make you exert energy in order to keep you physically strong. Why don’t we spend our daily life combining these two elements, without separating them into work and exercise? After all, both activities require us to use tools, albeit one to save energy and the other to burn energy? Isn’t that absurd?” Yoshida said.

“I like being here because there are no soldiers, no army, no invasion, no country, and no separation. Everyone has only love and goodwill for each other. Everyone is aware of the common benefits, and takes into account the potential consequences, even down to the small beings on the ground,” he went on.

“Are there no countries here? Or is there only one country?” I asked.

“It’s different here. People here have different races and skin complexion, like in our world. There is a government system, divided into cities, which is also similar to our world. There’s a governor for each city. What’s entirely different is that the shared areas are not owned by someone, but rather shared by equal responsibilities.”

“This form of governance is not the same as ours,” Yoshida went on. “Its principle is more focused on how we spend our lives, how we live together, on the principle of duty, the principle of understanding the mechanisms, and the impact of any decision made, and so on. This form of governance focuses more on planting and cultivating the seed of conscience in people, rather than making laws to enforce them.”

“Among the governors of each city, there have been quite a few meetings recently where the only topic of discussions was our world.”

“They discussed our world?” I was perplexed.

“All governors know that our world and your world are the centres that drive the universe. Therefore, if the level of energy balance is changed even slightly, it might have a huge impact on the whole universal system,” Yoshida replied.

“Therefore, all the governors came together and formed the ‘Galactic Federation.’ This federation has many members, both from this planet as well as others from the entire universe. Its critical mission and joint resolution are to help and keep the balance of our planet, Gaia. If only you could understand the soul language and were aware of the universal information that they are sharing now, you would know that all beings, who are in leadership roles all over the universe, are heading to Gaia. Some groups have been here for hundreds of years, while others travel back and forth regularly almost every month. They travel using the portal that I passed through, and via the other one, located in the middle of the ocean on the other side of the world, called The Bermuda Triangle. In addition to the Bermuda Triangle, there are several portals hidden under the sea,” Yoshida explained.

“The beings from this planet are the most human-like of all other beings. When they walk among our people, no one can readily identify that they are from another world. The only difference is that they are exceptionally more beautiful. Those from other galaxies mostly resemble humans. They also have hands, feet, a head, and they walk about on two feet. However, their characteristics and body structures vary. Some have big heads but smaller bodies. Some have grey, green, or red skin. Some look more like monkeys with long hair all over the body. There are records in our world, describing the encounters with these beings, but they still remain very much a mystery.”

Yoshida continued his narrative; “In the universe, the beings of this parallel planet are known to possess the most advanced technology, and their spaceships are the fastest in the universe and technologically superior than ours. These flying saucers don’t run on fuel, instead they are propelled by psychic power which defies universal rules. The principle is to use the mind to direct and widen its surrounding magnetic field, which creates a void similar to a temporary black hole.”

“Oh wow! Have you ever seen one of those flying saucers?” I asked.

“Of course,” he replied. “As a former pilot I’m very interested in aviation. When I found out that such an advanced aeronautical technology exists, I immediately requested to see one of these flying spaceships and asked for an opportunity to fly it. They told me if I could fly one, they would let me become a member of the Federation. But when I touched and examined the saucer, inside and out, I couldn’t even find the buttons and controllers, let alone start the engine; the only things I could identify were a seat and a control stick.”

“They explained the propelling principle to me, and listed the essential qualifications to become a pilot. One must have a very high level of mind power and strong concentration. If the mind is distracted even for only a second, the whole ship could immediately be crushed to powder because it moves at such an incredibly high speed. So, I gave up on that idea of flying one,” Yoshida said with a heavy sigh, and I could tell that he was disappointed.

“Do you know what those beings are doing in our world?” I asked.

“They help to maintain the balance of our planet by ensuring that the velocity of the planet’s rotation is in sync with its mass. The process happens in two steps; firstly, they need to ascertain what is missing. If the world is rotating slower because people are generating less positive energy, they would intervene and indirectly influence humans to generate more of this positive energy,” he explained.

“For instance, they would create tragedies, natural disasters, or even accidents as conditions for humans to show kindness and love for one another. When this happens, a mass of positive energy is generated, thus reacting with the Earth’s core. Have you learnt about the positive energy and the explosion at the Earth’s core, or would you like me to fill you in again?” Yoshida asked me.
