The Prophet

“In fact, I have been observing your life since the very first time you declared what you
would become on this world. Because you chose to be, I have had to constantly look
after your well-being,” he explained, again arousing my curiosity.

“How long have you been following me?” I asked.

“If we count the time in years, it would probably be around one hundred thousand
years. Your story has been recorded and used as a prophecy of your life since then.”

“Wow… that’s a really long time,” I said.

“For you, it may seem like a long time, but for me, it feels like it just happened recently.
Because if we compare it to my time stationed on this world, this event hasn’t even
taken up one millionth of my duration,” he explained.

“Who is the prophet?” I asked.

“You yourself, or the God within you,” he replied.

“The God I talk to regularly, is that it?” I asked.

“Yes, but it is a partitioned aspect of God, or what you call the spirit.”

“Then why has he never told me anything about this?” I observed.

“Have you ever asked him about it?”

“No, I haven’t.”

“If you don’t ask… why would he tell you?” he replied.

“Well… isn’t it something I should know?”

“You are mistaken. If that’s the case, there is still much knowledge you should know. If
you think of it in terms of volume, it would be so vast that it cannot be measured. I
don’t think you need to know all of it,” he added.

“But at the same time, if you desire to know anything, you simply have to ask him,” he
added.

“My problem is, I don’t know what I need to know, so I don’t know what to ask…” I
commented.

“Then from now on, I will take on the duty of telling you what you need to know,” he
said.

“Alright, I’m starting to get curious about what these stories I need to know are. Please,
I implore you,” I offered.

“I am happy to tell you everything, because this is the mission I am already here to do.
Let’s start by visiting the place where all of us reside, to see where it is and how we
live,” he suggested.

“Okay…” I quickly agreed.

Then, in just a moment, the two of us were floating above the vast, boundless ocean.

Whichever direction I looked, all I saw was the sea. Looking down, I saw the deep blue,
almost black seawater, and large waves as tall as two-story buildings moving back and
forth, even though it was a calm period with no storms or thunder.

“Where is this place?” I asked as soon as we arrived.

“This is the middle of the Pacific Ocean,” he replied with a slight smile at the corner of
his lips. I could sense his pride in being able to show me his home.

“Just the sea? Is this it?” I asked.

“It’s down below. I chose to reside in the deep ocean because I have a mission to fulfill
here,” he replied.

“Did you build a house under the ocean?” I asked.

“I didn’t build it here… I brought it from elsewhere because it is actually a large vessel
that we built and traveled in from another planet that had the necessary elements for
the vessel, and it is very large,” he explained.

“How big? About one or two football fields?” I estimated, based on what I had seen in
space movies where motherships are usually very large.

“It’s much larger than you think. Let’s just say that if you were floating one kilometer
above it, you would have no way of seeing the boundaries of this vessel. My vessel has a
diameter of about 40 kilometers and a height of 6 kilometers,” he replied.

“40 kilometers…!! Did I hear that right?” I repeated in shock.

“You heard right. This is the largest one stationed on this world, and it is the one I
oversee,” he replied.

“Does that mean there are other vessels?” I asked.

“Yes… there are many, ranging in size from 5 to 20 kilometers.”

“If it’s so enormous, why hasn’t anyone ever seen it? Especially with the widespread
technology for detecting objects or radar,” I asked.

“There are two reasons for this. First, your radar cannot detect the existence of the
vessel because the elements that make up the vessel have properties that blend in with
the elements on Earth. Therefore, detection by the instruments you have created
cannot distinguish it. And second, even if you were to invent an instrument that could
detect it, you still wouldn’t suspect it was our vessel because it is so large,” he
explained.

“Oh!… that sounds incredibly unbelievable,” I commented.

“Actually, it’s not that humans on Earth cannot see us at all, but rather that they are not
observant enough,” he emphasized.

“How so?” I asked.

“If they observed the evidence of the vessel’s movement, the traces we have left on the
ocean floor, they would know we are here.”

“Evidence…!!… What evidence?” I asked.

“If you look down at the sea from an altitude of about one hundred kilometers above
the Earth’s surface, you will see those traces clearly. They will appear as long lines,
some small, some large, crisscrossing each other,” he replied.

“Wow!… who would fly up there to look? But even if I could fly that high, I still wouldn’t
be able to see through the water,” I observed.

“Hmm… in the past, there was no way for humans like you to know or see these things
for sure. But now, you have invented instruments to read values and take pictures from
those altitudes. The result is detailed photographs of the ocean showing the depth
levels in each location,” he explained.

“That level of information is impossible for a small person like me to access. It would
probably have to be scientists working specifically in that field,” I countered.
“Not at all… you are mistaken. This information is published on the internet in a way
that anyone can access at any time,” he replied.

“Which website?” I asked.

“On the virtual world simulation website that you call Google Earth,” he replied.

“On Google Earth?”

“Yes… even though this information is publicly available, no one has ever noticed it.

Which is a good thing that no one has seen it, because we don’t want anyone to see it anyway. Even if they did see it, they wouldn’t believe it because those traces are too
large to be caused by living beings, especially the traces caused by the movement
across the Earth’s surface of my vessel.”

“Wow!… is this really true? I have to go back and look,” I said with eager curiosity.

“Sir, you said you are here under the ocean because you have a mission to fulfill. What
is that mission?” I asked further.

“How about we go down to my home first, and then I’ll tell you?” he replied.

“I will gradually take you to see both the external and internal physical aspects. How
about we pretend we are driving a small aircraft into a large mothership?”

“Okay,” I replied.
