Touching with Feeling
“See? It wasn’t difficult at all, was it? Try to find the third petal,” she encouraged.
“Hmm… if I had to guess, the other two petals must be at the top corners, both left and
right, directly opposite these bottom corners,” I said. As soon as I finished speaking, I
focused on the predicted petals. But when I counted the number of crystal pillars, it
wasn’t as expected. I counted fourteen pillars, and when I counted the petal on the
other side, there were also fourteen.
“It’s not them,” I reported the error.
“Try to see where else they might be located,” she suggested.
“If it’s not vertical, then maybe it’s horizontal,” I assessed.
“Try it.”
Along the horizontal plane between the first two petals I found on the left and right, I
didn’t hesitate to count the pillars in those petals immediately.
“Seven, eight, nine, ten! Found it! That means the other petal must be in the
overlapping section of another circle because it’s on the same plane,” I said confidently.
And it was indeed so. I found two more petals on the same plane, meaning I had now
found a total of four petals.
“Now there’s only the last petal left because there are five positions in total,” she said.
“This is difficult. I don’t know what principle to use to assess where it is,” I said.
“I’ll tell you that this remaining petal will be the point that creates another geometric
shape that symmetrically overlaps this hexagon,” Phasuhta hinted.
“Hmm… these four petals are arranged horizontally at the bottom. To create a
symmetrical geometric shape by adding just one point, it must be… the top point of this
hexagon, right?” I proposed my reasoning.
“Try it,” she replied.
Then I counted the crystal pillars in the targeted petal and found that it was indeed the
one.
“Yay! I found all five petals! And it forms a triangle that is perfectly symmetrical with
this hexagon,” I excitedly reported.
“Congratulations. Your memory crystal pillar is in one of these five petals,” she
revealed.
“And which petal is mine?” I immediately asked.
“You must find it yourself,” she replied.
“Why don’t you just tell me directly? I’m dying to know my story,” I asked, expressing
my feelings.
“In the future, you will face many more puzzles so that you can explain them to people.
Consider this a simple lesson for you. If you can’t solve this, don’t even think about
trying to solve other puzzles,” she said instructively.
“Okay, okay… it’s just a little bit more now,” I said.
“The rule is you must not touch these crystal pillars under any circumstances. If you
touch one, you will immediately know whose it is, and if it’s not your own, it will be a
violation. First, find which petal your pillar is in. Once you find it, then find which one
of those pillars is yours,” Phasuhta stated the rules.
“How should I start searching?” I murmured to myself.
“Try to stop using your mind,” he suggested.
“Stop using my mind… then what should I use instead?” I asked.
“Use your feeling,” he replied simply.
“How do I use my feeling…?” I asked myself.
“The first feeling that arises after you ask a question, before you use your mind,” Lord
Phoche’s voice echoed beside my ear.
“Is that so?… Then I’ll try asking a question right away. Which petal is mine?” I asked
directly, trying to be concise.
After asking the question, I tried to grasp the feeling that arose in my heart. The first
feeling told me that the last one was hers.
“My feeling tells me it’s the top petal. Is that correct?” I asked both of them.
“I won’t say whether it’s right or wrong. Continue searching using the same method,”
she continued.
“Wait a minute, can I interrupt here? Where do feelings come from?” I wondered.
“Have you forgotten that you have a spirit, your core essence, or a mind with the same
qualities as God within your body?” Lord Phoche replied.
“Then why doesn’t it communicate with me very often?” I asked.
“It’s not that it doesn’t communicate with you; it’s that you don’t communicate with it.
Normally, you tend to ask other people more, forgetting that you actually have your
own personal advisor,” Lord Phoche replied.
“So, if I have any problems, I can just ask it directly? I don’t need to ask you?” I
continued.
“Yes… but to receive an answer, you must have sufficient potential and qualities to
receive the message it sends. The language that the inner spirit uses to respond is the
feeling I mentioned earlier. But most of you don’t pay much attention to it because the
feelings that arise from thoughts, which come through the five senses, completely
overshadow this subtle feeling,” Lord Phoche replied.
“Then why hasn’t anyone ever taught this method?” I asked.
“I think there must be a reason for it. But what’s certain is that you must first learn to
distinguish between two types of feelings: 1. Feelings that arise from wanting to take
or do something for yourself, and 2. Feelings that arise from wanting to give, expand, or
do something for others. Sometimes, if you don’t practice distinguishing them well, it
will risk making wrong decisions,” Lord Phoche replied.
“So, the feeling I had a moment ago might not be reliable because I asked with my own
desire,” I asked.
“In your case, even though you asked this question for yourself, you are governed by a
greater intention. This greater intention is composed of love and goodwill towards the
world and all your fellow human beings. It will have an energy that permeates every
feeling, every action of yours, until it becomes one. The inner spirit knows very well if
there is anything hidden. Conversely, if a question is asked that outsiders might see as
being for the benefit of others, but in reality, there is a hidden greater intention for
oneself, the feeling that is the answer will still be reversed. Do you understand?” Lord
Phoche elaborated.
“I think I understand,” I replied.
“Alright… this is the final step. You’ll finally know which memory crystal pillar is yours,”
Phasuhta’s voice echoed in my head.
“Okay, okay…” I immediately responded to her thought.
“Now, the conclusion so far is that you yourself are still unsure whether or not the
topmost petal is the location of your memory crystal pillar. And the next problem is
that there are ten of them. How will you know which one?” Phasuhta posed the
question.
“That’s right. I’ll try using the same method,” I asked.
After that, I tried asking myself, “Which pillar is my memory pillar?”
As soon as the question ended, the first feeling that arose immediately was, “Try going
back to look at all four petals first to see if there’s anything similar.”
Upon receiving the answer, I quickly went back to look at all four petals at the bottom. I
scrutinized each petal, and every petal had quite distinct differences. There were both
small and large pillars mixed together. At first, I thought each petal might have only one
largest pillar, the same in each. But upon closer inspection, some petals had two large
pillars, and their positions were also different. The first petal had it in the 7th position,
the second in the 2nd, the third in the 9th, and the last petal had two, in the 2nd and
8th positions.
“I don’t see any pattern that’s the same,” I asked myself again.
“What about the next size down?” the feeling arose.
“That’s right, I haven’t looked at that yet,” I thought to myself.
This time, when I looked at the slightly smaller pillars, it turned out that there were
repeated positions: the 5th position. And what was even more special was that
normally every pillar had a hexagon, but these pillars had a nonagon. And when I
looked at the petal I suspected was mine, there was also a nonagon in the 5th position.
“I think I’ve found it,” I said to Lord Phoche and Phasuhta.
“I congratulate you. How sure are you that it’s the one?” Phasuhta asked.
“I think one hundred percent,” I replied.
“If you are that sure, then I will allow you to touch it,” Phasuhta replied.
