Confidence

I got back to my room after 9 PM, exhausted from the traffic and the work that had tied
me up, leaving no brainpower for anything else. I took off my shoes, put down my bag,
took off my shirt, reached into my left pants pocket to take out my phone to put it on
the table, and reached into my right pocket to take out my wallet. But as soon as I
reached in, I found a small object stuck at the bottom of the pocket, and when I took it
out, it turned out to be the small orange silk drawstring bag that Lord Phoche gave me
that morning.

“God… this is the silk bag we received from Lord Phoche! That means the story that
happened this morning wasn’t just a dream? It’s real?” I said to myself.

“You mentioned my name. Does that mean you want to ask me something?” a voice
replied in my mind.

“Oh, yes. Because I have an object in my hand that confirms it wasn’t my imagination.
Does that mean this morning’s events were real?” I asked.

“I think your question now shouldn’t be whether it’s real or not. You should be asking
how this story happened and, more importantly, how you will solve the mystery about
this, because it directly relates to your mission,” the voice of God replied.

“That’s right. I think that the whole time I traveled with Lord Phoche, it felt like it was
happening in real time. It felt like traveling from one to two to three. But why is the
whole story contained in just a moment?” I asked.

“Before you understand this, you need to know some truths first. If you don’t accept
this, other things might conflict with your understanding,” God replied.

“What do I need to understand?” I asked.

“Almost all humans only know and are interested in physical matters, without paying
attention to what lies behind the physical, even though everyone can perceive that it
exists and that there is some kind of process at work. That is the matter of the soul,”
God replied.

“I do pay attention and am aware that I have a soul behind my physical form,” I
objected because God’s statement was incorrect.

“Yes… everyone knows about this, knows that there is a soul. But because you use a
system of thinking based on the standards of physical world perception to explain
spiritual phenomena, even you, who knows this best and has clearer experiences than
others, cannot explain what happened to you.”

“Well, just tell me directly,” I suggested

“Then I’ll summarize simply: the physical world is under many limitations, which are
limitations of both space and time. For example, where and when does a fruit appear?
If you want to taste that fruit, you have to travel to find it or bring it to you, so you can
taste it with your taste buds at the appropriate time. If you go before or after it rots, the
result may not be the true essence or the true purpose of it. As for the world of the
soul, it is completely free from these limitations, whether limitations of any kind. And it
is this freedom from limitations that humans cannot imagine what it’s like, how vast
and boundless it is in space, how it is not under the limits of time. They don’t know and
don’t have a model of this freedom from limitations. When they don’t understand and
don’t have an example, they unknowingly use the standards from their limited physical
experiences to apply to matters of the soul.”

“Which is difficult to remove from this way of thinking. It has taken root in the deepest
part of memory. It is piled up under information connected to the subconscious and
affects the workings of the conscious mind in the physical world. I’ve heard that you
call this ‘attachment’,” God elaborated.

“Okay, let’s say… I believe that everything I encountered was real. Because there is
physical evidence to confirm it, and it relates to the mission that my friends and I have
to do. But the problem is, where and how do I start?” I said.

“It will start with the physical evidence in your hand,” God replied.

Upon hearing that, I looked down at the small drawstring bag in my hand and didn’t
hesitate to open the bag and pour out the contents. As soon as I touched this object, my
heart reacted strongly. I felt like a small electric current spread out from it, causing
goosebumps from my arms to my head. I felt that it was an energy phenomenon.
Combined with the fact that it was a gold coin thicker than regular coins, I immediately
felt that it was pure gold because its texture was still bright, even though it had some
old, orange-brown stains embedded in the deep grooves of the pattern, making the
images on both sides of the coin clearly visible.

“Wow… a gold coin. No wonder it’s heavier than usual,” I exclaimed when I saw it.

When I flipped it over, I was immediately struck by the first side because it was a
familiar symbolic image. It was an image of many circles overlapping to create an
internal pattern. Each circle was like a flower with six petals, scattered throughout the
circle. It was the image called the Flower of Life. Each circle overlapped in an orderly
and symmetrical way, reminding me of the arrangement of crystal rods when I entered
the Earth’s core. But at that time, I saw all these circles contained within a hexagonal
frame.

The second side was an image of circles of various sizes arranged spirally from small to
large and from large back to small again, but it was flipped like the letter S in English.

“God, do I really have to start from the images that appear on this coin? How should I
start?” I asked God in my mind.

“The first question I will ask you is, do you know what the mission you have to do is?”

“Uh… to make this world a paradise,” I replied, according to the information I had
received.

“And do you believe wholeheartedly that you can make this world become like that?”
God continued.

“If I don’t know what to do, how to do it, and where to start, how can I believe
wholeheartedly?” I asked back.

“That’s the way humans are under limitations. And all humans are like that. So I have
to ask you to make sure that you are not that kind of person.”

“Hmm… I guess I believe I can do it,” I replied.

“The way you speak shows that you don’t yet believe that you can do it,” God
commented.

“Then what should I say so that you believe that I believe?” I asked.

“Speak the way you are speaking now, but it must be filled with confidence.”

“Oh… that’s so hard,” I replied.

“I have a question to ask you. Try to answer slowly,” God suggested.

“Okay.”

“On the first day that humans started building airplanes, do you think that person
already knew all the steps? If the end result is the airplanes that appear today, do you
think he would know that it would be made of metal weighing hundreds of tons?
Would he know that it would have jet engines that could propel the fuselage at high
speeds, creating the factor between speed and air mass that leads to lift?” God asked.

“Hmm… definitely not.”

“What do you think he knew at that time?” God continued.

“I think he must have known the principles of aerodynamics,” I replied.

“Where do you think he got the knowledge of aerodynamics?”

“Hmm… probably from observing the flight of birds,” I replied.

“If your hypothesis is correct, even though he had some knowledge of the principles, if
he stopped himself with the limitation that he had no way of flying like a bird, he
wouldn’t have decided to start building wings made of wooden frames and canvas.

Because he knew all along that he didn’t have enough strength to flap those wings to fly
a long distance. What do you think made him continue to pursue that?”

“Hmm… maybe a strong desire?”

“In an era when everyone still used ox-drawn carts, people still pedaled bicycles with
two legs, still used steam-powered engines, suddenly someone told their neighbor that
‘they would fly in the sky.’ What do you think everyone would think of him?”

“I think the villagers would definitely think he was crazy,” I replied.

“I think most people, even if they knew about aerodynamics and had a strong desire,
when they faced resistance from society, faced criticism, and faced limitations of
resources, what do you think is the factor that made him continue to pursue that
intention?”

“Uh… I think I know what answer you want, but I can’t explain the meaning in words,” I
replied.

“If I were to call it ‘confidence,’ what do you think?” God asked.

“Confidence… it’s okay, but it seems like something is still missing,” I replied.

“What do you think this confidence must be built on?” God continued.

“I don’t know,” I replied.

“This matter is beyond logic and reason. Because reason is the limitation that arises
from the experience of human thinking. As long as he still uses the human mind to
start, no matter what it is, various limitations will arise immediately.”

“But if that person knows how to use my mind, knows and is confident that my mind is
limitless, and he also trusts that those limitations will be resolved in the end, even
though at that moment he doesn’t see any possibility at all, he will believe with all his
heart. No matter what he does, he will know that there is no dead end. What would you
call this?”

“If it’s like this, it seems like humans must ‘trust’ that they can do everything if they
know that they have God helping to guide them, right?” I replied.

“That’s right… anyone who can understand this, that person will transcend limitations.
He will become a genius in the eyes of ordinary people. He will do everything
amazingly.”

“I believe and trust that I can make this world a civilized world because I have you by
my side,” I said emphatically again.
